Located within
Danversport’s naturally protected harbor are several private
marinas including the
Danversport
Yacht Club, Bunky's Marina,
Liberty
Marina and
Pope's
Landing Marina. The
Crane River
Marina is the Town’s only public marina and provides dockage
for 68 vessels up to 25' in length. The harbor is made up of four
rivers; the Danvers River, Waters River, Cranes River and Porter
River. Collectively, the harbor is homeport to more than 1,000
vessels. Fuel is available at the Danversport Yacht Club as well
as pumpout service station.

Boat Launching
Pope's Landing is located less than ½ mile from Route 128 (exit 23).
For a minimum charge of $5.00 ($75 for the season) you can launch
your boat using our recently rebuilt boat launch ramp. The Landing
also offers public restrooms, a lighted parking lot, scenic park,
and picnic area. There is a thirty minute tie-up area at the public
dock for boaters who want to enjoy the view and use the picnic area
and facilities. |
Moorings
The Harbormaster's office oversees the placement and permitting of
125 moorings. Moorings are privately owned by boaters and
homeowners. The Town of Danvers is not currently permitting new
moorings, however, moorings being sold are offered to
waiting list applicants. |

Pumpout Services
The Town of Danvers, in partnership with the
Danversport
Yacht Club, is committed to improving the water quality
of our rivers and streams. Our boaters can also help by utilizing
our free pump out facilities and services. In June of 2009, the
Harbormaster’s Office commissioned a new pumpout boat and launched
an online pumpout registration program. In just three months, the
program registered 112 vessels, performed 819 pumpouts and properly
disposed of an estimated 10,885 gallons of sewage. The pumpout boat
will come to any marina or mooring in Danvers and pump out your
vessel free of charge. |
